SESSION ONE – July 3-13 - THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME – Stephen Schwartz and Alan MenkenBased on the Victor Hugo novel, and songs from the animated feature, the musical begins as the bells of Notre Dame sound through the famed cathedral in 15th Century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell ringer, held captive by devious Archdeacon Dom Claude Frolo, longs to be out there. He escapes for the day, only to be treated with cruelty by all but the beautiful gypsy Esmerelda. Frolo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies, and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.
