Jabber is a story about appearances and judgements.  It’s also about an outgoing Egyptian-born girl who wears a Hijab and about a misunderstood boy best known for his temper. In this social commentary play, our images of the Middle East and teenage boys are challenged and redefined against the backdrop of a modern day school – a place where people of all histories and backgrounds must learn about what they believe in, and how far they are willing to go to defend those beliefs.
