October 1 marks the official kick off to launch The Centre’s first season. You will be treated to an exclusive performance by Royal Wood and audiences will also get to preview our full 2011-2012 Season with a multi-media presentation of this year’s highly-anticipated line up. Royal Wood has spent years perfecting his craft of balladry and pop music. Named iTunes' Songwriter of the Year, Royal Wood has had songs featured on Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.

Opening Period from October 1, marks the beginning of eight weeks of opening activities including Tours, Community Events, Educational Programming and Open Houses, and a calendar of all these events will be available early September. In celebration of Culture Days, attend an Open House on October 2 to see and hear the amazing sound of the beautiful nine foot Shigeru Kawai grand piano, purchased with the funds raised by the Keys to the Future committee. Come out and support the talented musicians who made the purchase possible. On October 29, we will showcase the tremendous talent here in the Burlington performing arts community with a special show featuring Burlington theatre and dance groups.
