The Burlington Performing Arts Centre Presents Lunch at Allen’s
BURLINGTON, Ont. – The Burlington Performing Arts Centre welcomes four of Canada’s most well-loved musicians and songwriters when Lunch At Allen’s comes to the Main Theatre on Friday, November 25.
Murray McLauchlan, Cindy Church, Marc Jordan and Ian Thomas come together in an extraordinary musical revue which began as an ordinary gathering of friends at Allen’s, a traditional Irish/American style pub, in Toronto.
The four friends perform songs from each of their impressive catalogues and accompany one another vocally and instrumentally. Lunch at Allen’s is a polished acoustic production filled with laughter, witty banter and hilarious anecdotes.

This performance at the Centre comes hot on the heels of the release of their second album as a group, “More Lunch at Allen’s” on October 5. The live performance illustrates what happens when the irreverence of friends is enjoyed by audience members.

Murray McLauchlan, Ian Thomas, Marc Jordan and Cindy Church have collectively released over 90 albums spanning four decades, and been nominated for an astonishing 39 JUNO Awards.
