THE BURLINGTON PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
BURLINGTON, Ont. – With the interior of The Burlington Performing Arts Centre still receiving some finishing touches, Executive Director Brenda Heatherington and her team will be rolling back the construction fences on Friday to announce that the box office is open.
The first season brochure, which details the 32 shows that will fill the seats for the first time, will also be delivered to Burlington households this week and the revamped website will go live on Saturday, August 20, the same day that the box office at The Centre on Locust Street will open its doors for the first time.
“We have assembled an amazing line-up of performances for the inaugural season and we now invite everyone to see what we have to offer,” said Heatherington. “Take a look at the brochure or the website or simply come down and see us here at the box office – we look forward to sharing our excitement with you.”
This season’s performances also come with a special promotion where every ticket purchased before October 1 will qualify as an entry into a draw for a free pair of tickets to every performance this season. The more tickets you buy the more chances you receive.
“I will personally be drawing the winning ticket during the Season Launch on October 1,” said Heatherington. “It is an exciting way to celebrate this season with those who are as excited as we are.”

The Burlington Performing Arts Centre is Burlington’s newest architectural and urban design landmark. Built to Leadership in Environmental Design (LEED) principles, The Centre is poised to become the only freestanding green performing arts centre in Canada.
